What is MAD all about?
MAD Church is about both head knowledge and heart knowledge. You must know the Savior and view Him as Lord of your life to live as Jesus called you to live.
Head knowledge records these facts and holds them to be true: Jesus is the only hope for the people of the world; the adversary seeks to kill and destroy; the Good Shepherd came to seek and to save that which was lost; Jesus is the Savior that came to live the example life, to show us who God is, and to give His life for us on the cross so that we have the ability to know God personally.
Heart knowledge is taking advantage of that ability to know God. Desiring to know Him intimately is the reaction of to a changed life. The pursuit of knowing Him is a heart activity. It is a yearning that results in commitment to prayer and Bible study but also a commitment to serve in His name. James asked the question, "What use is it, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but he has no works? Can that faith save him?" An active faith results in a serving action.
This serving action is the overwhelming desire to Make a Difference for Jesus in your community - which is the MAD focus.
